"Wow man - thats a cool job - How do I get back there!"
There is something pretty cool about hearing that at all the shows I go to. Being one of "those guys" on the other side of the barrier, having a tour laminate instead of a ticket, hanging out backstage at the buffet with the rock stars, getting the primo seats, the comped parking. And sometimes you even get your own security escort. Its pretty awesome to look out and see that you are the only person between the band and 80,000 paying audience members. This is so beyond front row seats, the feeling is an indescribable buzz. The lights come on and then "Wham!" there is Metallica, or Rush, or Priest, or Slayer playing right there 5 feet from you. Its an amazing experience, a rush better than any drug. And it can all be yours!
