I have been involved in underground heavy metal since its creation. Having played in many bands including Savage Death, Ripping Corpse [session bass], Morpheus Descends, Exile, Incantation and of course Nokturnel, I think it’s safe to say I am a veteran of the underground, still going to shows and not retired from playing. Things are different for me now as I am married and have a daughter, so driving around in a van for weeks on end is just not going to happen. These days I am much more into breeding snakes which is my main business but I do still operate Nokturnel Eclipse Distro which is my online store for CDs, DVDs and T Shirts...nothing but metal.

The bands I will review for this site are what I consider to be somewhat mainstream. They’re on decent labels and can be found fairly easily in stores. I respect bands on all levels from garages to playing arenas but see not much point in reviewing bands the average person will not be able to track down. If you are familiar with the bands I am reviewing ... well that must mean you’re cool so feel free to email me. If you like some heavy music but are not familiar the bands I review. please check them out. The majority of my reviews will be about good releases, for ones I think suck I will just add a one sentence review underneath the good one. I don’t have time to ramble on about things sucking, I’d be here til the end of time.

The nickname Nokturnel Tom has followed me into the world of reptiles, sure it was adapted a bit as for 15 years my last name was not Stevens....it was "from Nokturnel." Nokturnel Tom is easier and I have been tracked down by some people who were into my music because they saw the name on Kingsnake.com. I am glad to say some other snake people I met on this site also turned out to be metal heads. I think this music section was a great idea, as with high speed internet there are the occasional times when the forums I read are slow and I have pissed myself off enough for a day not being able to buy what I want on the classifieds.....so remember this place people. This place is gonna be cool.
