The Hymns at Momos 7/17/08- more photos
| I got an invite last week from The Hymns to come check out their gig at Momo's. One of the last sets of the tour and barely making it in an ailing van, they still managed to pull off a great set, plowing through about a dozen cuts off their first 2 albums. I have my fingers crossed that they made it back to New York.
Last night I got invited down to shoot the sold out Alkaline Trio show down at La Zona Rosa. Much as I like Alkaline Trio I was surprised by openers The Fashion from Denmark. They have a very energetic stage show, frontman Jakob Printzlau virtually pouncing on the mic stand in between spastic tremors like he's got the D.T.'s. They sound like The Cure on Prozac.
Tomorrow I will be heading down to the Verizon Wireless in Selma to shoot the Mötley Crüe show and in August I have been invited to shoot the Seether show at Stubb's and then Ozzfest up in Dallas. I have a few more shoots planned but no sense tempting the gods so stay tuned.
